Therapy for Adolescents & Teens
Self Pay | $150

Adolescence can be a challenging time as teens navigate academic pressures, social relationships, family dynamics, identity development, and the emotional ups and downs that come with growing up. Therapy provides a supportive, nonjudgemental space where adolescents and teens can openly express themselves, process difficult emotions, and develop healthy coping skills. My goal is to work collaboratively with your teen to help them build confidence, strengthen emotional resilience, and better understand themselves. My approach is warm, supportive, and tailored to each teen's unique needs, empowering them to navigate challenges and thrive both now and in the future.

Family Therapy Sessions
Self Pay | $150

Family therapy offers a supportive space for family members to come together, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges as a team. Whether your family is experiencing conflict, life transitions, parenting concerns, behavioral issues, blended family adjustments, or the impact of stress, anxiety, or other mental health challenges, therapy can help foster greater understanding and connection. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, I help families identify patterns that may be creating tension, develop healthier ways of interacting, and build on their existing strengths. The goal is to create a more connected, supportive, and resilient family system where each member feels heard, valued, and understood.

No two people experience life's challenges in exactly the same way, and therapy should reflect that. I believe in a personalized approach to counseling, drawing techniques from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic frameworks to best meet your unique needs, strengths, and goals.

Psychotherapy Approaches

Lighthouse At Sunset

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT helps individuals identify unhelpful thinking patterns and beliefs that may be contributing to emotional distress and learn practical strategies to challenge and change them. By developing healthier ways of thinking and responding to life's challenges, clients can improve their mood, build coping skills, and create lasting positive change. CBT is goal-oriented, collaborative, and effective for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based approach that focuses on building emotional resilience, improving relationships, and developing healthier ways to cope with stressors. DBT helps individuals learn practical skills to manage intense emotions, tolerate distress, increase self-awareness, and respond to situations more effectively. Through a balance of acceptance and change, clients are supported in understanding themselves while also creating meaningful growth. DBT can be helpful for concerns such as emotional overwhelm, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem challenges, and navigating major life transitions.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals develop greater flexibility in how they respond to thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. ACT focuses on building awareness, practicing acceptance, and learning to take meaningful action based on personal values rather than being controlled by difficult emotions or unhelpful thought patterns. Through this process, clients can develop a deeper understanding of themselves, strengthen resilience, and create a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling. ACT can be helpful for concerns such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, and navigating difficult emotions.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a strengths-based approach that focuses on identifying solutions, building on existing strengths, and creating meaningful change in the present. Rather than focusing solely on problems or past experiences, SFBT helps clients explore their goals, recognize what is already working, and develop practical steps toward the future they envision. This collaborative approach empowers individuals to identify their own strengths, increase confidence, and make positive changes in their lives. SFBT can be helpful for concerns such as life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, goal-setting, and navigating periods of change.
